My kids are taught this song in school and I thought it would be fun to make a path of the words for day two of “make the playground more exciting.” I am almost out of paint, so I am not sure if I’ll be able to come up with something creative for day 3 to do one last project. We’ll see! At least the kids now have two more things to do during recess since they have no more playground!

The playground at my kids’ school was torn down, and as of yet, nothing has replaced it. I used some left over paint to make a little interactive painting today so that when the kids come back on Tuesday, recess can be just a tad bit more fun!!

It was my first time painting asphalt for a client—Eek!! A lot more difficult than I realized. I gave up on straight lines a few hours in! 🤣🤣🤣

Did you know that when I’m not painting murals I am prepping student worksheets and photographing them with hand models? It’s kind of a weird job—I know. But I love it! It enables me to still do something creative (see the little picture I drew of the students giving each other high fives? Haha!) and work from home. I even hire my kids to model for me when they are able! I am so grateful for the work I have as a single mom of five kids. God has been so good to always provide for our needs! 🥰
